PROCLAIM-ER

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,  always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,  because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” Philippians 1:3-5 ESV “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,  always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,  because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” Philippians 1:3-5 ESV

What is the role of the PROCLAIM-ER in this partnership?

The role of the PROCLAIM-ER is to make disciples of all nations(Matt 28:19) by teaching them to observe Jesus’ commands (Matt 28:20). That’s it, just presenting the gospel in an easy to understand format, and teaching what God commands of us. The bible uses three names, though not quite interchangeably for a PROCLAIM-ER: Servant/Minister, Preacher, and Evangelist. If you feel you could fill one of these roles and would like to become a part of the work to proclaim the gospel in Sitka  PLEASE LET US KNOW! Men will be needed to preach, teach, and study(Romans 15:16); women will be needed for encouragement and teaching other women and children. (2 Timothy 1:5)

“In pointing out these things to the brethren, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following.” 1Timothy 4:6 NASB
